MailerLite integrates with PieSync

August 10, 2017

PieSync keeps your contacts in sync between your favorite cloud apps, 2-way and in real time. Just set it and forget it!

It supports apps like iCloud, Google Contacts, Salesforce, most CRMs and many others. Just set it up and leave it – you’ll have your subscribers updated in real time, both ways.

Pricing is very flexible and starts with a $5/month plan for 1000 contacts and one connection. You can also take advantage of the 14 days free trial!

MailerLite Piesync setup

Setting up your MailerLite connection

PieSync integrates MailerLite with other apps for an automatic 2-way contacts sync. Every time you add or update a subscriber in MailerLite, it is automatically synced with the other app, and vice versa – eliminating import/export!

Setting up is simple and takes around 5 minutes. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Log in to your Piesync account.
  2. Choose MailerLite and another app for syncing.
  3. Click Authorize for both apps. You will need to paste your MailerLite API key for authorization.
  4. Choose your sync direction. By default, it is synced both ways between the two apps, but you can choose to sync just one way.
  5. Customise your sync by adding actions and conditions. For example, you can set up your subscribers based in New York to be added in a specific group in MailerLite.
  6. Finally, Field Mapping syncs your default fields. In Medium pricing plans you can also sync your own custom fields.
  7. Click Start Syncing Now. That’s it!

PieSync or Zapier?

You’ve probably heard about Zapier before. It’s a 3rd party integration tool connecting two apps based on a trigger/action method. So, how is PieSync different and which one is better?

Well, they’re both very good, but serve a different purpose. For example, if you’re using webforms on your website and you want to push that data to your CRM, Zapier would be your choice. It is a trigger based app and will operate when a trigger is pulled, pushing the data to another database. However, Zapier won’t check if an update is necessary and it won’t sync your data.

PieSync, on the other hand, constantly checks to see if an update is required and then it syncs the new data. PieSync is great for when you want to continuously sync correct, up to date, error free information across your cloud apps.
